The last day I made cosplay, I was putting the eva foam "belts" on the armor pieces to adjust them on my arm, and I thought you could be interested about How to give form to your eva foam armors!
HAIR DRYER! :D
1-Maybe you already know it, but I want to show it anyway ^^'
I use hair dryer, cause I still don't have a heat gun. It works! It takes more time to give the heat to the eva foam, but it's okay if you have enough time! :D
2-When I have my eva foam hot, I'm going to give it the form I want. I usually use to make just curvy armors, nothing complicated or special, so it's easy for me in that way. You have to think before you do it where you're gonna put the piece who keeps the eva foam in the form you want, until cool!
3-.. I think that's all! Y'all see that isn't hard to try! A lot of people without heat guns, usually tend to put the eva foam on the kitchen cookers, and it's something dangerous I'm not gonna do :( Please everyone! Even if you have to stay still giving more heat to the eva foam and takes more time, use hair dryer! Or think another way to give the form, but never do thinks who can cause fire!
