Yasuo genderbend - Cosplay progress WE START WITH THE CLOTH YAY!

Hello everyone again! I don't know when I'm gonna post this but I hope it could be soon! I have not enough time to take my computer, and my internet is working so bad lately... :(
And I'm writting this from the phone!

I want to talk about the cloth part, because it isn't the hardest one, but it could become complicated if you have any idea about how to use a sewing machine or in the case you don't have acces to one :(
But don't worry too much! In the case you cannot use one, you can use just your hands and sew it with them!
So let's start!
I'm not sure about this word in english, but I think it's something like the "mantle/cloak" I hope you understand what I mean;_;

At first i made a pattern about my neck, and I passed it to eva foam!
Why I used eva foam? Because it's difficult to bend even with the gravity ^^
So i bought cloth, blue cloth, the measures are differents because of the different body, and I'm sorry I can't tell any approximate measurements, because I bought too much and I was cutting by the way I was making the cosplay... #sad

Before I'm gonna post the pictures, I used cloth glue for this part, to stick the cloth to the eva foam!
I forgot I FORGOT TO MENTION you always have the cloth glue if you cannot use a sewing machine, I'm not sure about the resist it have... But for this part isn't enough and I guarantee it works so well!
*DON'T FORGET YOU HAVE TO LET IT DRY MORE TIME THAN THE HOT SILICONE*
I let it dry from the afternoon to the next afternoon, to make sure it is perfectly adhered!
The first glue you can see (THE TOP ONE) it was a waste of money... DON'T EVER EVER EVER BUY THE GREEN BLUE I'M SHOWING because it was to stick the eva foam (on the back of the glue you can read it sticks eva foam, paper, plastics, etc, but it was such a lie... This glue never dries and stick nothing)

THE SECOND GLUE, THE BLACK ONE!
Is the cloth glue I used, it works so well and isn't expensive at all, it costs around 3$
Here. you can see i used clothespins and some hairpins to keep the cloth fixed to the eva foam until it dryes at the next day!

You can see I turned to the other side the neck part, because it will make easier your way to stick all the cloth to the eva foam, but don't worry, when all dryes you can turn it around again!
*For this part I used more less 30cm lenght of cloth*

At the last picture you can see how it ends (more less!)

And then you can start to add the other part! Don't forget this one it's just the neck part!
Please, always check the 3D model, because you have the best reference on it, you can see on the left shoulder he is not wearing it, I cannot explain it clearly, but if you take a look, you would know what I mean :( The link to the 3D model ^^

You can see I made an strange form because with the glue it was hard to sew it, and I had to move the thread while I was sewing haha ^^'
I can't say too much about this part, because is just add the cloth to the neck part we made before, isn't enough complicated to explain being more specific :(
THEN THE PAINT PART YAY!
I used blue acrylic paint! I took more less the design from the 3D model, but I had not enough space to paint it as in the original model so... I made it how I could xD
I used a pencil to mark more less the pattern by the way!

At the moment, the best paintbrush I had it was a brush... Yes, I mean a make up brush :D
And you can see more less what I did :3

More less look like this :D I'm sorry because my idea on this last picture was to zoom the cloth (I DIDN'T EVER WANT TO SHOW YOU MY RECENT IRONED CLOTHING) but well... You... I hope you can see I cut the back part as in the model, making triangles forms, to make it look a lil' older :3

I have one more part to say, I bought dark brown cloth (60cm exactly) because under the forearm armor and on the bottom leg/feet he have something brown, like a bandage! The 60cm costs 2'70€ around 3$ so it was SO CHEAP!
Maybe you don't need that much or maybe it's not enough for you, all depends about you body! Well, so I took the 60cm and it was too much for me, I cut it on 7'5cm for every part, and I have around 15cm that I no need ^^
I repeat, all depends about your body, but don't worry too much because that's not expensive enough to make a drama.
I'm sure I'm gonna buy the pants part of this cosplay, because I'm so scared about how to make them myself... If I couldn't find them I will have to make it myself, but I hope that's not the case ;_;
The flute, I'm going to buy it, ISN'T NECESSARY for this cosplay, because you cannot really see on Yasuo clothes his flute, so that depends on the person ^^ In my case, I'm gonna buy it :3
If you want it, be sure that they are not cheap at all, because still being an instrument, a wood instrument :(
And for the moment I have nothing more to talk about! I hope it was usefull for someone!
Thanks you so much for your attention and support! :D

Yasuo progress! #Yasuo Cosplay Progress /genderbend/

Hello everyone! Lately I rarely have time to post :( Because I'm busy with the classes and training, and trying to take time to advance cosplay, work designs, and to make some clothing shots... :(
But now I can take a break and post a little about some part of the cosplays, I made these two this week, and I hope I can find the yasuo pants on some shop! :D

At first, What about the Yasuo belts?
I already said one or two posts before, what I used and how I made it, so if I'm not too specific now, you can take a look at the other posts!

Materials to make the belt parts:
-Two dark brown FAKE leather belts (I don't know about the exactly translation in english but in spanish is called "polipiel")
-A pack of around 6 curtain hooks!
-Glue gun - Hot silicone!

Okay! I painted the hooks with my metallic acrylic silver paint! At this part I really recommend to be always looking at the 3D model of Yasuo, you can find it on LolKing (I posted before the link so you can find easily if you take a look on some other post^^)
It's an easy part, because you just have to let the hooks dry and start to stick with the hot silicone the pieces as in the model!
Guys, don't worry too much if it looks as the first one picture, where you can see easily the silicone, because this part it's gonna be hidden!
DON'T FORGET TO STICK IT ALL FOR THE SIDE YOU'RE GONNA HIDE
Then you have to cut one belt (I cannot say the measures, because everyone have their own, so you can do the same as me, I used the belt to mark the lenght, EASY :D

When you finish to cut and stick them with the silicone, you can try to wear it to see if it fits you or not!
I'm sorry if it looks hard to understand, but I guarantee that's the easiest part of the cosplay (on my opinion!)
If you have the belts (in my case, I just used 1 belt and 2/3 parts of the other one) and the hooks painted, it's gonna take you around 10 minutes!

I'm gonna post the other part I wanted to later, because I have no time enough now, sorry guys ;__;
I luv u so much<3

Full armor guys! #YasuoCosplay

Hello everyone!
I told you to share the armor part in another post because I didn't want to make longer the post, so, let's go!
*I'm still working on the clothes part so please be patient :D*

Okay, let's start!
At first as you all know, we will need to make patterns. You can obtain them from here: Yasuo 3D model page (Lolking - Secure Page) Here you can find the 3D model of every champion on League of Legends with all the skins they have, in this case is the principal skin from Yasuo ^^
You can make the patterns as big as you want, because it's your body, so you have your own and different measures :3 At first you can use paper, normal paper to draw, and (I always do that because I like so bad the "epic" and big armors/props D: ) put normal tape if you need more space to draw in than a normal paper.
Resultado de imagen de celoResultado de imagen de folio
Okay, when you made all the patterns (this is gonna take you a long time, just in case you are like me, too much perfectionist with these things haha ^^')
Then you have to pass it to our friend eva foam and we have to make all the pieces, with their respective details (at first, you may make all the armor bases and then the pieces and details you have) Don't worry too much about the eva foam color, because we're gonna paint no matter the color the eva foam already have^^
When you have it they'e gonna look more less like this!
While I was making the bases and pieces I noticed I ran out of eva foam, and I had to took my emergency eva foam (they're big as a normal paper) and I used all I had ;_; It's because of that you can see here a lot of colors :D (while I was seeing this picture I automatically thought about some arcade Yasuo and I was hyped with no reason lolol) DON'T FORGET TO USE HOT SILICONE - GLUE GUN TO PUT TOGETHER THE PIECES TO THE BASE!
Then we will start to give form to our pieces! You can use just a hair dryer   I can prove you it works so well, but don't apply too much heat on the eva foam because could start to take weird forms and we don't want this to happen :3
I used a pair of shoes to put the eva foam and give the ova form as his armor have!
I didn't take a pic about how all the pieces look but you can see here how one of the pieces looks! (The pastel colors armor part haha :D)
Then apply the white glue (JUST ON THE PART YOU'RE GONNA SHOW) and let it dry!
How to make the bands? Just measure how long you have your extremities and all the parts where you need to keep the armor and stick it with hot silicone (let more space, if you need 30cm, let maybe 40cm)

When you have it all, let's put again the velcro we used for the breastplate too! I bought for all the costume around 2'50cm of velcro (NOT ADHESIVE VELCRO, THIS ONE DOESN'T WORKS WITH EVA FOAM, BUY CLOTH VELCRO GUYS!) and it was around 2€ more less... SO CHEAP.
Then put the velcro in all the pieces and well... An example :D
Then we're gonna paint it all, I used the Dark blue spray I used for the sword cover (I bought 3 of them... And all of them are empty now... My money...;_;) It costs more less around 2€ or 2'50€ for every spray btw^^
And I used my lovely acrylyc silver metallic paint to paint the details and the others^^
(If someone didn't read my old posts, I shared a picture about how these stuff looks like if someone is interested! And also you can ask me about something else you're interested to know too :D)

I still have to paint the bands with black acrylic paint and use the same paint to make the armor look older... (I explained how to do this and what I mean in the sword post, if someone's interested too)
But I tryed the armor part and I'm so HYPED. This is how it looked before I painted all, (you can see I still didn't finish the breastplate in this pic lolol) because I think the best way to make comfortable and see how it looks on you (and fits you of course) is wearing the costume everytime you put something (like the velcro, the details, etc...)

Okay so this is me into the armor! What do you think? I WAS SO HYPED BECAUSE I THOUGHT I LOOK EPIC but that's subjective :3 (Don't look at the neck, it's an spoiler about the cloth part of the cosplay D: ) In these pics you can notice I still had to give more form to the pieces (I already did it^^) and some pieces were falling on my arm haha.. I had to put more velcro because I made the bands bigger as I need ;_; I'm going to post something when I finished at all the armor pieces (giving them more form, painting the bands, giving them the "old/worn out style" I love... And these stuff :3
On the last picture looks like the breastplate it's big to me, but idk why looks like this, because it fits me so well and this picture is lying so bad D:
DON'T FORGET TO PAINT WITH THE SPRAY THE INSIDE PART OF THE ARMOR, BECAUSE SOME PARTS (LIKE THE ARM ONE) ARE VISIBLE IF SOMEONE IS AT YOUR BACK!)

I luv u everyone! Thanks you for supporting every post! :3

Armor and Breastplate! THE SECOND TRY O-M-G

Hello everyone!
I know I'm posting very late! D: But I have good news!
These days I was working on the new breastplate I said I would gonna do! And I finished (more less D:) te armor parts!
As you know (I hope) I'm talking about the Yasuo Cosplay.
I'm so sorry this post it's gonna be long... So let's start!

Resultado de imagen de cinta de carrocero1) This time I took film paper, masking tape and some pen.
I'm gonna let here two pics about the material, to make you easier to understand what I mean ^^
2) Now, you're gonna wrap yourself with the film paper(on the breasts part), I recommend, if you can get some help, it could be faster and maybe easier, but isn't necessary, because I did it myself and personally I had no problem ^^ And then put the masking tape wrapping you, as if the tape, was your breastplate, I hope you understant, I'm gonna let more pics about the progress (this time I took a lot for you, I hope they're usefull :D)
*NOTE: THE FILM PAPER IT'S FOR NO HURT YOURSELF WITH THE TAPE, BECAUSE OUTSIDE IT'S LIKE PAPER, BUT INSIDE STILL BEING TAPE, AND IT HOOKS AND HURTS A LITTLE OKAY*
Resultado de imagen de papel de cocina transparente

I gave more less the form I want, that doesn't mean this is gonna be the definitive form, but it's a pretty good base!
As you can see I cut for one side the tape with the film, and boilé^^
*You have to draw with the pen the line to mark where ends your boob, and, the form your boob have, in general ^^*

3) Now we have the base we just have to pass it to the eva foam, our best ally :3 How to do it? Easy. For the "band" part: You just have to "smash" the base we did to the eva foam and trace it!
For the breasts part: Can you see the red line I made under the breasts? Its to cut! When you already have it (you can just cut one and use it as a pattern for the two boobs of course) smash it on the eva foam! I let some space like 2 or 3 lines more than the trace you did ^^ I hope I'm explaining well :3
Then cut the eva foam and use a cutter/scissors to cut from the bottom middle to the middle of the boob! Then cross the two bottom sides!
This step is so NECESSARY because you have to give an oval form if you really want a cool breastplate! I'm gonna let some pics, to make easier your way to understand :3
Okay here I crossed and I kept them with two hairpins! You can use whatever like this, to keep the breasplate-boob part like this!
Then I started to add the "band" part and some eva foam accessories as you can see on the next pictures!
I used a glue gun - hot silicone to stick it (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) And used the tape (the same we used to make the first step!) to keep the pieces to see how the breastplate looks!
You can see you have to fix the breastplate a little on the top part too, because they can fell...

Never forget to let some space when you put the band, because we are going to put velcro to fix it on our body!

Then we are going to put the hot silicone... And make the details we want!
I thought about to put something cool and metallic, so I took some pieces whose usually kids use to make little carpets or something like this, they're gold and I wanted them to look silver metallic, so I put them on my paint and let them dry! They looks like this!

I'm sorry you can really apreciate it, but they have "two legs" whose you have to open on different sides to make them fix what you want, in this case, to fix them into our breastplate! (I still didn't opened them because I had to paint later the breastplate ^^'
THESE ARE THE PIECES WITHOUT NAME! :D

And here's the next step! (never forget to try the breastplate every time you add something because you have to check if it fits you!
Then we have to put white glue to cover the eva foam pores and make eva foam able to paint it :3
And this step it was so cool for me (JOKE) because I burned my hands so bad a lot of times ;__;
I used the glue gun - hot silicone to stick the velcro to the breastplate! I hope I'm not forgetting any step, because I want to make this little tutorial short but it's pretty hard to make it shorter ;_; I recommend, by the way, to put a generous quantity of silicone, to fix it hard, and be less worried about what could happen, ya know.
 THAT'S VELCRO BTW:

Resultado de imagen de velcroResultado de imagen de velcroResultado de imagen de velcro
AND THE LAST STEP!

You can see the... Nipples are having a cold, but when you wear the breastplate, I can prove you they don't look like this, and it looks so epic... I'm so happy I made the breastplate with calm and time... :D (Not as the first time Cotton plz go out)
You can give more paint layers or put vinyl latex as I always do ^^ (not this time, but xD )
I hope I don't forgot any step and I was clearly explainng all the steps, and I hope you're enjoying this as much as I do :D
*I'm gonna let for another post the full armor tutorial aw sorry D:*
SEE YA CUTIES<3
